Welcome. I founded On Good Behavior LLC in 2000 to provide Central New Jersey residents with high quality dog training classes and expert assistance in resolving behavior problems. Since that time, On Good Behavior has become the training program most frequently recommended by local veterinarians, shelters, and other pet industry professionals.

I specialize in the following for dogs of all ages and breeds:

• Comprehensive obedience training—from teaching your new puppy to sit right up to Canine Good Citizen certification. 

• Household manners—housetraining, greeting guests without jumping, waiting politely for dinner etc.

• Behavior problem resolution—diagnosis and treatment for dogs with anxiety or aggression problems.

Classes: On Good Behavior’s group classes will help you teach the basic commands, socialize your dog, and deal with common behavior problems such as jumping on people and stealing food. You will learn how to teach your dog the basic commands using modern methods based on learning theory. Let On Good Behavior show you how to effectively communicate with your dog and also how to better understand how your dog thinks.

Private Lessons: On Good Behavior’s private lessons are a convenient way to address both obedience training and behavior problems. Private lessons are held at your home and always begin with a complete evaluation of your dog’s temperament and behavior. Once we have determined what the problems are and what your goals are, I will help you design a training program that will fit you, your dog, and your lifestyle.

For training to be effective, learning must take place at both ends of the leash. Dog training is really about teaching you to train your dog and I believe that my talent as a teacher will help you to become an excellent trainer for your dog.
